Michele McHenry Schoenwalder was our 2nd plumber to address some water pressure issues we were having in different areas of the home. The other plumber, Horner, was dismissive of our problems and without checking the basics said we needed to replace the galvanized pipes in the wall, meaning our walls would need to be opened and the cost over $12k. Mike actually took the time to diagnose our issues and it was a simple flush of the lines and cartridge changes, amongst a few other small things. Our bill was reasonable at $405 for all he did. Had we gone ahead and replaced the galvanized pipes it would not have fixed the problem because the area of concern was at the faucets. It's difficult to find someone who does a good job and I'm glad we finally found someone that we can rely on for all our future plumbing needs. Highly recommend.

Mark Blado We had a 25 year old exterior water faucet that was dripping water constantly. Everything else in our house was Mansfield, so I thought a Mansfield repair kit would work. I removed the 16 inch frost free hose bib and replaced the washers at the end with a Mansfield kit from a local hardware store for about $20. Still leaked. Disappointed it did not solve the problem, I took it to Schoenwalder's for advice. I had a video of where it was leaking that I showed to Trevor. He agreed a new washer kit should solve the problem. He called me later to say he had a hunch the original was not Mansfield. He asked me to recheck the faucet, and sure enough, "ABP" was faintly visible on the brass. He ordered the exact ABP replacement of the entire 16 inch unit for around $40. I picked it up the next day, installed it immediately. A few days later, there is no leaking! Thank you Trevor for your help in solving our problem! We appreciate it!!

John Christiansen We had a plugged kitchen drain. I called for a service appointment this morning and they said they were very busy and they scheduled me for an appointment tomorrow afternoon. About an hour later, they called back and said they could work me in. Trevor showed up immediately and not only cleaned the clog, he fixed two additional items that need attention. Everyone truly worked hard to make sure we were happy.

Dee Hardrath We recently purchased water heater from Schoenwalder. Very pleased with the whole process - quality installation, very good communications setting up appointment times, etc. And when a few hiccups occurred on our end with the water heater a few months after install, they were excellent in their response time and communications and had someone out who got everything worked out within 48 hours. Have and will continue to use them for our plumbing issues in the future and would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Alex Joestgen Had a broken garbage disposal and a couple other issues in our 40+ year old house. Gave them a call and they were able to get us on the schedule very quickly. Provided quotes for the work up front and stuck to them! The guys made quick work of the garbage disposal and took a look at some of the other issues we had. Very professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable! They didn't charge us anything extra to look at our other issues, gave us some great advice for how we could resolve some of them ourselves, and provided a very transparent quote on replacing our ancient water softener. Couldn't be happier!
Louis Young It was an absolute pleasure using Schoenwalder plumbing. I had two unexpected Plumbing issues come up at a very inconvenient time, and they were extremely responsive, on time and the technician, Paul, was great to work with! he came over, got down to business, knew exactly how to fix the problem and was in and out in about an hour having fixed two different issues. I will certainly use this company again in the future for any plumbing problems I may have.
Brian I had a problem with my water heater. Another plumbing company wanted to replace the whole thing (and charge me around $3000). The guys from Schoenwalder correctly diagnosed the problem (clogged exhaust vent) and fixed the issue (took out bird's nest, put on an extension with a grate to prevent any further nesting). The guys were professional and easy to talk to, they explained my options and everything they were doing. Schoenwalder will definitely be my go to plumber for any future issues.
Christ Saves When I told them the problems I was having and the urgency of the issue, they made time for my service needs even when they were swamped with service requests. Vince was very professional as was the gentleman scheduling. They did top notch work and were very professional.

Araelee Berberbaby I called them at 9am for service request. I had a sewer line leak going to the upper unit and it was dripping in the basement. They had the pipe replaced in the wall and cleaned up before 1pm. Cost was $900. I'm glad I called them instead of another place.

Alex Quail Our water heater needed immediate replacement and the Schoenwalder team helped us out in a big way. Quick and easy experience over the phone being provided with cost estimate and scheduling appointment for next day service. Brian F came to our home and we had a very positive experience. The old unit was difficult to remove and drain, but Brian was still able to accomodate and did not make a mess in our basement. Once the install was complete we talked through everything and also received helpful advice about the new unit and the plumbing in our home in general. We'll definitely be calling them again in the future.

Vamsidhar Lolugu Nice professional work but unbelievable costs for materials.Job was to replace existing Water heater. Installation was quick, pros of fixed price - only half the time of expected time and materials. However, ridiculous charges for materials which are additional to the installation cost and determined by the job. $68 for parts to replace an electric water heater. He couldn’t clearly show me the parts he added for $68.Along with the installation, I asked them to replace two circular valves above water heater with ball valves. They obliged and I didn’t think of checking their cost of 1/2 inch ball valves. I was charged $35 each, $70 for two ball valves. As Adam there said, I didn’t have these jobs done often so the cost of parts are little surprising to me.

Jonathan Nolte Schoenwalder plumbing went above and beyond in helping us figure out how to hook up our portable dishwasher. It took 3 of the plumbers and their knowledge to assist us with our puzzle, but at the end of the day (and a lot of hassle on everyone's end!) we now have a working portable dishwasher! Kory, went out of his way to talk through things with my husband and I until we were able to figure it all out. We are very pleased with the overall service we received and are SO THANKFUL to finally have a WORKING dishwasher!

Maureen Holsen We called Schoenwalder the Monday after Thanksgiving to repair our garbage disposal. They sent Brian Fehrenbach out before 11am to our house and he had installed the new garbage disposal in less than 30 minutes. They were incredibly responsive, knowledgeable & worked quickly. Brian was professional and helpful, in addition to the new disposal he recommended we unhook our outside houses before it got colder so we didn't have any flooding in the spring- we took care of that this weekend!
Jim Knorr Called late Monday, minutes before their closing time, ended up talking to Kory (President). He took the time even at the end of the day to listen to scenario of event that happened. Determined it wasn’t an emergency, and would have someone contact me the next day. Got a call just after 10am, that someone was on the way. Brian arrived shortly after and got to work. Confirmed our grey water pump was dead, replaced it, added a silent check valve as well. Encouraged me to watch and ask any questions that I may had. All in all really happy with the whole experience. Will use again if any both needs arise.
Erica Becker We've had a long-standing issue with the kitchen faucet backing up when we run the garbage disposal, and it's leaking into the basement where we have belongings. Last month we hired Schoenwalder Plumbing for a job we expected to be big and pricey. They got us an appt asap, the plumber was professional. The job turned out to be not as awful as I was thinking, they started it immediately, and finished the same day. Best part... it was very affordable! They will be my go-to from now on!
